Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and NBG Insurance Group, the operator of GoVerifyMe (“GoVerifyMe,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use GoVerifyMe

The agent-facing portions of GoVerifyMe are intended for individuals who hold a valid, current insurance producer license in the United States. By creating an account you represent that you are at least 18 years old, hold the licenses you claim to hold, and are legally able to enter into these Terms.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or other suspected security issue.

3. Subscription and billing

• GoVerifyMe is offered as a paid subscription. Pricing in effect at the time you start is shown at checkout.
• New subscriptions may include a free trial period. At the end of the trial your card will be charged the then-current subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard’s billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing or features with reasonable advance notice; changes apply to renewals after the notice period.
• Promotional codes are issued at our discretion, are not transferable or redeemable for cash, and may be revoked at any time without notice if obtained or used in violation of these Terms.

4. Profile content and licensing accuracy

• You are solely responsible for the content you upload — headshots, license images, carrier appointments, written biography, and any other material on your profile.
• You represent and warrant that all license information you display is current and accurate, that any imagery you upload is yours to use, and that nothing on your profile is deceptive or misleading.
• We may verify your license against publicly available records (e.g., NIPR) and may suspend or remove profiles that do not match active license records or that we believe to be fraudulent.
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your profile content as needed to operate the service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent your licensing status, carrier appointments, or qualifications.
• Use the service to contact consumers for purposes other than the insurance products and services described on your profile, or in a way that violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM, state “Do Not Call” rules, or any other applicable communication or marketing law.
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, discriminatory, or that includes another agent’s licensing materials, headshot, or branding.
• Probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the security or operation of the service.
• Resell, sublicense, or share access to your account with anyone who is not the licensed individual it was created for.

6. Consumer inquiries

When a consumer submits a quote request or otherwise contacts you through GoVerifyMe, we forward the inquiry to you. You are independently responsible for following up with that consumer in compliance with all applicable laws, including obtaining and honoring any required consents and recordkeeping. GoVerifyMe is not a party to the relationship between you and the consumer and does not guarantee any specific outcome from a lead.

7. Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers (including, without limitation, Stripe for payments, Supabase for data, Resend for email, Calendly for scheduling, and Vercel for hosting). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms and policies.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, presented a security or compliance risk, or engaged in fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as indemnities, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

9. Disclaimers

GoVerifyMe is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We do not provide insurance, legal, tax, or financial advice. The service is a platform for verifying and contacting licensed agents; we do not recommend specific coverage, policies, or carriers. Nothing on GoVerifyMe should be relied on as a substitute for advice from a licensed professional appropriate to your needs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoVerifyMe and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GoVerifyMe and NBG Insurance Group, their officers, employees, and agents, from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (i) your use of the service, (ii) your content, (iii) your violation of these Terms or any law, or (iv) your interactions with consumers contacted through the service.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Except where prohibited, any dispute arising under or related to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by sending a notice to your account email. Your continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
